26/8/2009. Poor Grain Harvest. Farmers around the country are struggling to harvest grain crops due to the bad weather. This is three years in a row that the summers have experienced heavy rainfall due to global warming. Spokespersons for the agricultural sector have said that many farmers will opt out of growing grain crops next year because of the poor financial return due to drain damaged crops.
