16/2/2017 Armed Standoff Ballyrogan. Gardai and members of the defence forces at a house in the Ballyogan Cresent, South Dublin where a man William Harton had a gun.. According to gardai a female in her 30s was held hostage in the house by a man in his 40s. After a short period of time the female left the house unharmed. Negotiators were in constant contact with this man and at approximately 3:30pm he left the house and was taken to hospital for treatment.
