The Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s annual nationwide Flag Day collection Alzheimer’s Memory Ribbon is taking place in every county in Ireland today (Thursday, November 21st) fundraising for vital dementia-specific services for the 55,000 people living with dementia in Ireland. Today, the charity’s staff and volunteers are selling Memory Ribbons for 3 Euro in cities, towns and villages across the country. Members of the public can buy the ribbons from volunteers; buy one our the charity’s online shop, or make an online donation on www.alzheimer.ie .
