FILE PHOTO Gardai have charged two men in relation to the fatal shooting of grandfather Thomas McCarthy in Ballyfermot on 27 July last year. Cailean Crawford and Charles McClean were arrested this morning and have been remanded in custody END 27/07/2020 Covid-19 Pandemic (Coronavirus), Ireland. Lockdown Day 123. Day 29 of Phase Three. Fatal Shooting Incident Ballyfermot. Pictured are Gardai at the scene in Croftwood Park in Ballyfermot, Dublin, today, where a shooting took place at approximately 11am. Gardaí have confirmed a man received a number of gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
