They were holding a lunchtime protest in response to a decision by senior management in St Patrick’s Mental Health Services to cease employer contributions to the staff defined benefit pension scheme. The workers are calling on management to begin a meaningful engagement with their union representatives on the decision to cease these pension contributions without proper consultation.
