04/03/2019. Launch of Young Social Innovators national Speak Out Tour. Pictured today 4th year students from the Donahies Community College are Tony Lien (16) and Aoife McDonald (16) at the launch of Young Social Innovators national Speak Out Tour at the Mansion House, Dublin and their classmates from Donahies Community School, Dublin 13, who made their presentation on gender stereotyping in ‘Not Just Another Brick in the Wall’. Now in its 17th year, Young Social Innovators seeks to strengthen civic society by giving teenagers a platform to articulate their ideas, insights, passions and expertise. Some 800 students gathered today to present their solutions to challenges such as health, homelessness, and climate change. This year, YSI is also calling on young people to ‘make your voice heard’ at a political level through a #TellYourTD campaign.
