22/04/2024 Dublin Ireland. A new mural has been unveiled to highlight the work of Dublin Samaritans. The image on the side of a house on Montague Lane, off Camden street in the city centre, is the portrait of a man with a number of cracks on his face. Those cracks have been filled in with gold paint using the Japanese art form of "Kintsugi". In Kintsugi, the cracks are transformed into a beautiful feature. It has been created by artist Joe Caslin who said the idea is to reflect the work of the charity, Dublin Samaritans. Photo: Leah Farrell/© RollingNews.ie
