22/04/2024 Dublin Ireland Cherry Blossom Trees in Herbert Park. Around 40 trees were cut down in Dodder Valley Park in South Dublin during the night on Friday last week, which locals believe was done so using an electric saw. In what is assumed is an act of vandalism, young cherry blossom trees along a path in the park were cut in half while a number of saplings were kicked up from the ground.
